Housing Assistance

Helping those who are homeless in our community find and maintain stable housing

Finding affordable and safe long-term housing can be a barrier to moving out of poverty. We can help.

Individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness are invited to register to attend an informational meeting or to schedule an assessment appointment with our Homeless Intervention Program team. Our caseworkers determine clients' readiness for long-term housing, connect them with landlords, pay 50% of move-in expenses, help locate furniture and other need supplies, and provide long-term support.

Homeless Intervention Program

The Mission helps individuals and families who are homeless move into their own homes by providing financial assistance for the first month's rent as well as individual budget counseling, resource referral, and case management.

If you need help moving from homelessness into permanent housing, please come to our walk-in hours for eligibility screening and assistance. For more information, please contact Alicia Merriman, our Housing Counselor, at (859) 381-9600, ext. 240.

Frank's Story

“This place has given me hope!”

The faith Frank had been raised with was mightily tested when his mother and daughter died within 30 days of each other. “I got to where I just didn’t care anymore,” he says. “This place made me realize the things that I’d been missing.”
