Walk for Warmth
Every February, Lexington Rescue Mission hosts this annual walk-a-thon to raise money for our Homeless Intervention Program and raise awareness about homelessness in Lexington.
Thank you to everyone who came out to Walk for Warmth this year on February 17th. Over 150 registered and over $35,000 was raised which went directly to our Housing Program.

Annual Fall Banquet
Lexington Rescue Mission was thrilled to host the 20th annual Fall Banquet on Thursday, September 19th at the Central Bank Center. It was a wonderful time for the community to come together, hear personal testimonies from our clients, witness how God is working through the Mission, and celebrate the impact you continue to have in our city. Please stay posted for the date of next year's banquet—we look forward to another special event!
Other Events
Shoe Day
We are hosting our second annual Shoe Day on Saturday, October 12th. During this event, we give away a new pair of socks and shoes to those struggling in our community. There will also be a professional foot care clinic avaliable to all who come.
Foot health is a critical need for many of our guests and this event helps us meet that need. Last year, 6 of our clients ended up getting amputations due to infections because they did not have proper foot care.
Holiday Meals
Every year, we hold a Thanksgiving and Christmas community meal. Last year, we celebrated Christmas with 219 guests at our annual holiday service and dinner on Friday, December 22.
