25th Anniversary Banquet

This year, we celebrate 25 years of God's faithfulness. Since the very beginning, He has woven the story of the Mission — drawing in every staff member, volunteer, client, donor, and partner according to His perfect design. He has supplied every need, and we trust He will continue to do so.

Together, we are working with excellence through the resources He has provided, and what is emerging is a beautiful tapestry — one we won't see fully completed this side of heaven, but one that is being crafted into a breathtaking work of art. Some beloved members of our story have already gone on to glory, but one day, as God brings us home one by one, we will see it whole.

Join us as we celebrate the lives God is rescuing and restoring through your generous support.

Walk for Warmth

Every February, Lexington Rescue Mission hosts this annual walk-a-thon to raise money for our Homeless Intervention Program and to raise awareness about homelessness in Lexington.

Our Homeless Intervention Program help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. Our caseworkers determine clients' readiness for long-term housing, connect them to landlords, pay 50% of move-in expenses, move furniture and other supplies, and provide long-term support. Last year, 66 families moved out of homelessness and into permanent housing through our program.

Step Into Wellness

On August 29th, 2026, Lexington Rescue Mission is hosting its 4th annual Step Into Wellness Event. This event is provided to help connect those who are street homeless to new shoes and socks, and services to help them be healthier. Each guest will receive new socks, and a new pair of shoes while supplies last. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am-1pm.

Foot health is a critical need for many of our guests and this event helps us meet that need. In 2024, 6 of our clients ended up getting amputations due to infections because they did not have proper foot care.

Holiday Meals

Every year, we hold a Thanksgiving and Christmas community meal. In recent years, we've celebrated Christmas with hundreds of guests at our annual holiday service and dinner.
