Walk for Warmth

Every February, Lexington Rescue Mission hosts this annual walk-a-thon to raise money for our Homeless Intervention Program and raise awareness about homelessness in Lexington.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Walk for Warmth this year on February 17th. Over 150 registered and over $35,000 was raised which went directly to our Housing Program.

Shoe Day

Last year, we put on our first Shoe Day in October. Over 250 individuals came to receive a new pair of socks and shoes. Foot health is a critical need for many of our guests and this event helps us meet that need. 6 of our clients last year ended up getting amputations die to infections because they did not have proper foot care. This year, we are preparing to put on this event again on Saturday, October 12th.
