Last year, the Lexington Rescue Mission served more than 42,000 meals to our hungry neighbors. Food donations are a simple way to make a difference. The items we need most are canned fruit, peanut butter, spaghetti, pasta sauce, diced canned tomatoes, canned corn, green beans, peas and carrots, individual packages of cookies, lemonade mix, coffee, sugar
Your gently-used clothing can be given to men, women, and children in need at the mission. We take donations of shirts, pants, and shoes that have been previously worn, but we prefer to give our guests new underwear and socks. Because we have very limited storage space, we ask that you please limit your clothing donations to items that are currently in-season.
