GOOD GIVING CHALLENGE

Help us raise funds for our Re-Entry Program

Your gift can go even further this year as we raise funds for our Re-Entry Program. This program provides essential training, guidance, and support to help formerly incarcerated individuals transition smoothly back into society.

In the past year, 157 men and women prepared for life after incarceration, and 68 families received critical support after experiencing the effects of gun violence. With your help, we’ve seen a 45% drop in our city’s homicide rate, far outpacing the national decrease.

Equipping incarcerated men and women with the skills they need to live healthy, productive lives.

We provide training and support to assist incarcerated men and women in making a smooth transition into the community. We work with those who are currently and formerly incarcerated, offering case management, guidance, and client assistance. Watch the video to learn more.

Our 2024 GoodGiving Goal

This year, your support will benefit our Re-Entry and Project Peace programs, empowering formerly incarcerated individuals to rebuild their lives. With a goal of raising $75,000, we aim to provide case management, training, and resources for a smooth transition back into the community.

Our Re-Entry program offers in-jail classes, including The Genesis Process and Jobs for Life, addressing personal growth and job readiness. Upon release, we continue to support with essentials like housing, IDs, and employment. Families also find encouragement through Bluegrass Families of the Incarcerated.
