Rescuing Lives, Restoring the City Campaign
People in the Lexington area are hurting.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the needs for vulnerable people -- homelessness, addiction, rising costs for food, housing and basic needs – have continued to grow. Currently, the Lexington Rescue Mission is at full capacity in every service area. A new Community Center will meet the growing demand. We are working to restore our city. You can help.
- The Street Outreach Team can grow and connect more people to treatment (42 in 2022).
- The Homeless Intervention Program can grow and house more people (86 adults and 25 children in 2022).
- The Employment Services Team can grow and train more people for employment, as well as helping them find employment (130 men and women gainfully employed in 2022).
- Share God’s love with more hurting people ( 25 people committed their lives to Jesus Christ in 2022).
- Serve more hot, nutritious meals (50,000+ in 2022), leading to more guests obtaining food security.
