The Mission helps families in crisis through our Homeless Prevention Program, which provides emergency financial assistance for rent and utility bills. Those who come to us for help are often facing eviction or having their utilities shut-off. We work one-on-one with them, providing budget counseling, resource referral and case management.
In 2009, we prevented 66 families from being evicted and 60 from having their utilities shut off.
To make an appointment for assistance, please call Samantha Young at (859) 381-9600, ext. 236, on the first Tuesday of the month, between 9 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
